SMOKE ODOR AND SOOT REMOVAL
If you have ever had even a small fire you know what a mess a light smoke can create in your home, not to mention the stench of smoke. When a larger fire occurs, sometimes porous items need to be treated and/or replaced. For instance, items such as dry wall or roof trusses. Did you know that a different type of residue will be left on cabinets and such if you burn a piece of chicken than if you catch the pot roast on fire? Did you know it depends on the type of finish on your cabinets whether they are cleanable or not? Have you ever seen a home with an ever so fine layer of soot on everything that was caused by a “puff back” from a gas or wood burning fireplace? PACK, INVENTORY, STORAGE OF CONTENTS
You’ve had a fire at your home, you are standing there with the Fire Chief not sure what to do next. While walking through your home, you know you definitely can not stay there but you are not sure what to do with your furniture, collectibles, pots/pans, appliances, etc. Euro Construction will help you sort out what is salvageable and what is not. We can pack-out and inventory your personal items and take them back to our facility to be cleaned and stored. Your insurance adjuster will probably have you keep a complete inventory list. If we advise that a certain item can not be restored but has a sentimental value to you, we will do our best to attempt restoration. We realize that not everything is replaceable!
CONTENT CLEANING
After Euro Construction has packed-out, inventoried, and transported your items to our facility, we proceed with the cleaning process while our other crews are beginning work at your property. There are numerous ways to clean items, ranging from a chemical sponge to our state-of-the-art Ultrasonic Machines. We take great pride in treating your valuables with extreme care. If we are unhappy with the results of certain items, we let you and the insurance adjuster know so that we all stay “on the same page” and decide how to proceed.

DRYING & DEHUMIDIFICATION
If not handled properly, even a small water loss can turn into a major problem involving coverage issues, destruction of items that should not otherwise have been affected, and mold. Euro Construction has trained employees in water damage restoration who can tackle the precise job of drying out your property.
STRUCTURAL REPAIRS and RECONSTRUCTION
If you have had a “clean” water loss (For example, from a pipe break versus a sewage back up) and you catch it within 24 hours, consider yourself lucky. Most of the time, your property can be dried and returned to normal in a short time.
Water, as we know, will follow the path of least resistance. You know your floors are affected because you have standing water. But water will seep through the floor covering, down to sub-floors and wick up walls and furniture. Since wood is porous, it can “balloon” and be non-restorable depending on how long water has been present.
Euro Construction can assess whether or not there is hidden damage, like in your walls. We can take care of structural issues associated with your water loss including the following:
FLOORING RESTORATION OR REPLACEMENT
Carpet, tile, vinyl, wood. Depending on the type and severity of your water loss, Euro Construction can help. If we can salvage the carpet, great. If the sub-floor is warped and ruined, we proceed accordingly by replacing the sub-floor and having the owner pick out new floor covering. Sometimes a hardwood floor will be buckled but will unbuckle as the drying progresses. However, every situation is different and we treat each customer's property as if it were our own. We work with the property owner and insurance adjuster to get through the job in a timely manner.
SPOT AND STAIN REMOVAL
Sometimes a water loss will create stains on your carpet. We do not just “spot” clean an affected area but expand our cleaning to the affected room.
CONTENT CLEANING
Sometimes a water loss on a higher floor can cause ceilings to collapse...right on all your furniture. Have you ever seen a sofa covered in wet drywall and insulation? Not a pretty site. If the water is still "clean" water (versus "gray" water which has been sitting too long and may contain contaminants) then the furniture is probably salvageable. Our crews will get the furniture off the wet floors to prevent further damage as they begin to clean-up.
